Delivery date calculator
Put in the postcode the card is going to. We'll show the day it goes in the post and the earliest day it can arrive, counting weekends and public holidays in Sydney and where it's going. Add the day you need it there and we'll tell you when to order by.

Public holidays on the way, which don't count as delivery days:
How we work it out
- Posted the same day before 2pm. Cards ordered before 2:00pm Sydney time on a Sydney business day are written and posted that day. Later orders go in the post the next business day.
- Next business day to most capital cities. That covers most postcodes in Sydney, Melbourne, Brisbane, the Gold Coast, Adelaide, Perth, Canberra, Hobart and Launceston. Everywhere else in Australia takes three business days.
- Business days only. Weekends don't count, and nor do public holidays: Sydney's on the day it's posted, and the recipient's state's after that. Holidays kept only in part of a state, like Melbourne Cup Day or the Ekka in Brisbane, are counted for the whole area so we never promise too early.
- December is busier. Australia Post carries far more mail before Christmas. We post on time, but leave a day spare if you can.
The same calculation sets the earliest date you can pick in the card studio. For tight timing, see how to send a last-minute greeting card.
